Hi, my name is Miss. Kathy.  That's what my clients call me.  I have been working in the pet industry for a very,very long time. I began my career around 1984. I worked as a bather brusher for a pet salon in Pacific Palisades CA.  In 1986 I returned to the Washington area to attend the Maryland School of Dog Grooming.  I worked for the next couple of years at various places in Prince William County before taking the plunge and starting my own business.

In 1993 I took My education a step further by training and testing on a national level to become a National Dog Groomers Association Of America, certified Master Groomer. In 2009 I became a certified obedience instructor through the Animal Behavior College Inc.  I try to keep up to date on the latest grooming trends and equipment by attending trade shows and seminars.

I have owned and operated Sittin' Pretty Mobile Pet Salon inc. for 17 years.  In 2004 we opened Sittin' Pretty Pet Salon Inc. Since then Sittin' Pretty has grown to incorporate the grooming salon, doggie daycare, self serve dog wash, boarding, in home pet sitting and obedience training.
