Hi, my name is Miss. Kathy.  That's what my clients call me.  I have been working in the pet industry for 24 years.  I began my career around 1985. I worked as a bather brusher for a pet salon in Pacific Palisades CA.  In 1987 I returned to the Washington area to attend the Maryland School of Dog Grooming.  I worked for the next couple of years at various places in Prince William County before taking the plunge and starting my own business.

In 1993 I took My education a step further by training and testing on a national level to become a National Dog Groomers Association Of America, certified Master Groomer. I am currently studying with the Animal Behavior College Inc. to become a A.B.C. Certified Dog Trainer. I try to keep up to date of the latest grooming trends and equipment by attending trade shows and seminars.

I have owned and operated Sittin' Pretty Mobile Pet Salon inc. for 17 years.  In 2004 we opened Sittin' Pretty Pet Salon Inc. Since then Sittin' Pretty has grown to incorporate the grooming salon, mobile grooming van, doggie daycare, in home pet sitting and obedience training.
