Day care is a great service for busy people with busy dogs, not so busy people with busy dogs, busy people with a couch potato or just people with a spoiled rotten pet (my dog Stanley falls under that one. He eats on the bed and refuses to sit in the back seat of the car!). On our playground you will find all of the above described family's and more. Our day care pets are not separated by size or breed and are never crated. Our program provides a full day of activity, obedience and love. Thats right, obedience! I'm going to quote the great Dog Whisperer now "exercise-discipline-affection". Our day care program provides all three all day. How do we discipline? Through obedience! How do we control a pack of pets? Obedience! Here are some examples: waiting before entering the play ground, sitting before the ball gets tossed or sitting and waiting for lunch.
Day care is a great way to allow dogs to socialize with other dogs and burn off energy. Pups can learn proper dog etiquette from older dogs. Shy dogs can come out of their shell. Small dogs can learn to over come what we call in the pet industry "Napoleon syndrome", the name speaks for itself. Doggie day care can fulfill a variety of needs for you pet.
The play ground provides both indoor and out door play areas, both areas are equipped with play equipment designed for dogs to climb on and under. The out door play ground has K-9 AstroTurf that is antibacterial and easy to clean. The indoor area has cots and blankets for napping and has heating and air conditioning. Our day care provides a full day of supervised fun for your four legged friend. Our hours are 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 P.m. Dogs can be dropped off and picked up at any time during the day.
We are always happy to show an interested client our daycare so below i will list a typical day; this way you can decide what you would like to see to determine when to drop by.
6 to 8 a.m. shop is only open for current clients dropping off for day care
8 to 12 play time: this is a great time to come and watch our day care in action. However we cannot allow a visitor on the playground because it will disrupt "safe" play ground activity.
12 to 12:30ish lunch time: no visitors please this is a very busy time and all attention must be placed on the dogs.
12:30ish to 1:30 nap time: a great time to walk on the play ground, but you cant see the play house because its nap time. No peeking in the window; because they'll know, and it will disrupt nap time.
1:30 to 5:00 play time: great time to see day care in action, but we cannot allow you on the play ground. Safty first for the dogs in our care!
5:00 to 7:00 shop is only open for current clients picking up for day care.
Saturday is a great day for walking the play ground and play house.
